A Warm Welcome at The Sandrock

Denise took over The Sandrock on 3rd May 2022, a self certified 3 star B&B. Since arriving, we have undertaken improvements and refurbishments, including tidying the front garden, creating outside seating, refurbishing the breakfast room and upgrading all our bathrooms.

The Sandrock is a detached Victorian/Edwardian residence built of soft red bricks with sandstone piers and a red tiled roof, sympathetically converted to a hotel in 1973. We have a ground floor twin room, a standard double on the middle floor, two deluxe doubles and two twins on the first floor, and two standard doubles and a deluxe room on the top floor. Rooms are serviced every day during your stay.

We are perfectly located within the coastal resort of Clacton, just yards from the award-winning seafront cliff top gardens and beaches, and a short walk to Clacton town centre and the pier. Free wireless broadband is available in every room.
